RETURNS
GEORGE GINA & LUCY RETURN POLICY
To return one or more items from an order all of the following conditions must be met:
- The return must be requested within 30 calendar days of the delivery date.
- The item must be in its original unused, unaltered, and unwashed condition.
- The item must be returned with the tags and packaging in their original condition.
Please note: Final Sale items are not eligible for return.
Damaged/Defective Items
If you believe an item to be defective or damaged, please contact our Customer Care team so they can help resolve the issue.
GEORGE GINA & LUCY reserves the right to reject any returning products that do not comply with the above stated return policy. Rejected items will be sent back to the original shipping address without any refund being processed. In order to avoid this, please contact our Customer Care team to address any issues or concerns you have regarding the item(s) you wish to return.
When requesting a return, customers must ensure to keep the return postage receipt until the refund is duly processed by GEORGE GINA & LUCY. GEORGE GINA & LUCY reserves the right to refuse any request for a return without this mandatory proof of return postage.
Returns
To initiate a return, please submit a request for a Return Authorization (RA) through your GEORGE GINA & LUCY return portal. GEORGE GINA & LUCY adheres to a strict no-paper policy to reduce waste, which is why shipments do not include a return slip inside the box.
Please note that multiple orders cannot be returned with a single return request and in the same box; orders will need to be shipped separately with several return requests.
Returns from Germany & Austria
Germany & Austria customers can request a return label in our return portal. The cost will be 3.95€ for Germany & 8.95 € for Austria.
- Access the Return Portal: Visit the return portal link provided on the store's website.
- Enter Your Order Details: Input your Order Number and either your Email Address or Phone Number used during purchase.
- Find Your Order: Once entered, the system will locate your order. Confirm the details to proceed.
- Select the Item(s) to Return: Choose the item(s) you want to return from your order.
- Choose Return Reason: Select the reason for your return from the dropdown options and add any additional comments or details if necessary.
- Check Refund Method: Refunds are only available to the original payment method.
- Automatic Label Generation: The system will automatically generate a return label based on the return request.
- Download Your Return Label: A return label link will be generated. You can download the label directly or it will be sent to your email.
- Prepare Your Package: Print the label and attach it securely to your return package.
- Ship Your Package: Drop off your package at the designated carrier or schedule a pick-up if that option is available.
International Returns
International customers are responsible for covering the cost of return shipments and coordinating the return with their local post. The bag does not need to be returned with the magnet box or the original shipping box.
Returns from Europe / International
Pack the goods in a shipping carton and write "Return of German Merchandise" on the package and take the package to a shipping service provider. If necessary, fill out the appropriate customs form. The costs for a return from abroad are to be borne by the buyer. Send an email to returns@george-gina-lucy.com with your order number and the tracking number of your return.

Exchanges
GEORGE GINA & LUCY does not offer direct exchanges. We ask that you return the merchandise for a full refund and place a new order for the preferred item(s) at your earliest convenience.
Refunds
Once the returned merchandise has been quality checked and approved, GEORGE GINA & LUCY will issue a refund to the original method of payment and a confirmation email will be sent to you. Please note that it can take up to 5 business days to process the refund. It may take your financial institution additional time to process the transaction and update your bank statement.
In the event the returned merchandise does not pass the quality check and is not approved, GEORGE GINA & LUCY reserves the right to withhold the payment and keep the returned merchandise.
RETURNS PROCESSING TIME
Returns will be processed by us within 48 hours (working days) after arrival of the package and the purchase amount will be refunded. In exceptional cases it may take a little longer.
COMPLAINMENTS / DEFECTS
Defects that appear on your item within 2 years of the date of purchase can be reported to us. We would like to point out that there is no legal entitlement to this if the time of purchase was more than 6 months ago.
Moreover, a claim for complaint only applies to the goods purchased from us in our online shop. Products that you have bought from other retailers must be reported to this retailer.
If you discover a defect in your bag, please contact us using the contact form. Please enter your name and the order number so that we can process your request quickly. If we agree to the complaint, we will first try to find a replacement item for you. If we cannot provide an equivalent item, we will usually refund the purchase price without the initial shipping costs.
We reserve the right to take a closer look at the item's defect. If there is a product defect that is not due to normal wear and tear, you have the choice of whether we issue a credit note for our online shop or pay you the purchase amount. It is important that you have previously given us your bank or PayPal details so that we can make the refund immediately.
